Leeor Gal, MFT, is a Marriage and Family Therapist that enjoys working collaboratively with individuals, couples and families. Leeor has a special interest in working with school-aged clients (ages 2-23) going through transitional periods (i.e., school, new job, college, parents going through divorce, new relationship, etc.). Her goal is to improve family dynamics, address intrusive issues, thoughts, and aim to improve the relationship with her client’s own self and/or others. Her training allows her to assist clients in grounding their innate ability to feel more in charge of their life. This is done through having the ability to identify and express one’s emotions, needs and desires.
Leeor’s systemic training from Thomas Jefferson University's Masters of Couple and Family Therapy program provides her with further insight into understanding what makes you, you, and what has affected you thus far. By utilizing a number of conventional and collaborative approaches, Leeor aims to tailor treatment to fit the individual, couple or family.
Leeor provides a comfortable setting for clients to share intimate stories, and is warm but direct. She has experience working with clients with depression, medical illness, anxiety, adjustment issues, divorce, and play therapy.
