Aparna Sagaram, LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist who believes that the way we connect with people is the key to understanding ourselves at a deeper level. Having worked with many clients in the context of their families, Aparna also really enjoys working with individuals, and exploring family dynamics as they relate to current issues. Aparna also enjoys helping couples improve their relationship. She believes that it is never too late to seek help if you feel stuck in your life or your relationships, or feel overwhelmed by current circumstances.
Aparna specializes in working with couples and individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, difficulties in relationships, and self-esteem concerns. Aparna considers therapy to be a process of seeing the whole person and will work to help you understand yourself in the context of your current struggles, family background, present aspirations and challenges, to make the changes that are important to you.
Aparna received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Temple University, and Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. In her free time, she enjoys running and trying new dessert places.
